Tom Jacobsen lives in New Orleans and has written a book to be published in March by the LSU Press, Traditional New Orleans Jazz: Conversations with the Men Who Make the Music, and has been a long time supporter of traditional jazz and many of the other sounds of New Orleans.
He plans to cover as much of "what's happening" in the New Orleans area and more, as he finds the time.
